Macstorm Streacom II is the second version of this computer, which resembles the Mac Pro in appearance. In this version, the computer is equipped with the most powerful 15th generation Intel processors, namely Intel Core Ultra 7 265K and Intel Core Ultra 9 285K. The new generation of processors significantly reduces operating temperatures, making the Streacom II even quieter ! The performance of this computer significantly exceeds that of the MacPro M2 Ultra and even the Mac Studio M3 Ultra.
The case, manufactured by a renowned company, is made of thick 3 mm sandblasted aluminum with excellent airflow and cooling efficiency. As usual, Streacom focuses on minimalism, solid workmanship, and cooling efficiency in its solutions.
A highly efficient and ultra-quiet liquid cooling kit – BeQuiet Silent Loop 2 280 mm – is responsible for cooling the processor. The BeQuiet 600W SFX-L power supply provides adequate power and comfort of use. The motherboard has space for two ultra-fast NVMe drives, but there is also room for regular SSDs. The case is small, but thanks to its unique design, we can install even long and powerful graphics cards (up to 33 cm). The standard option is the RX 6600 XT, but there is also an option with the top-of-the-line RX 6950XT graphics card.
The ASUS ITX motherboard from the ROG Strix series is a very strong point of this machine; it guarantees maximum performance from the fastest Intel processors. The computer is ready to work 24 hours a day. A much better alternative to the Mac Pro, even though it is much smaller.
